The Lyrics

Be he Barney Frank, first to admit he's gay
Sharp of wit and bright, not a slow man
Been serving in Congress since Nineteen Eighty One
He is Barney, Barney Frank, the out-go man

Oh he took the left road, and they took the right road
As he represented his old Mass-
Retiring, Two-Thirteen, to never run again
Bless ye, Barney, Barney Frank, the out-go man

Graduated from Harvard, a lawyer back then,
Quite soon Congress urge, it would grow, man
Leader, he led..as Finance Service head
And with his expertise, it would glow, man

Oh he took the left road, and they took the right road
As he represented his old Mass-
Retiring, Two-Thirteen, to never run again
Bless ye, Barney, Barney Frank, the out-go man

Bless ye, Barney, Barney Frank, the out-go man

Great sub of "Barney, Barney Frank" for "bonnie, bonnie banks" especially since he sought to regulate the banks! Also liked "out-go" as double-entendre for "coming out of the closet" and retiring.
