Parody Song Title:

"Silicon Valley"

The Lyrics

Silicon Valley got quite a blow:
Bank’s run was over…lost lotsa dough.
Folks took out dough there, causing shared woe.
There was bank run that wasn’t slow.

What did geniuses at the bank do?
Made bad investments…reckoning due.
Many people had to say, “Adieu”
to their stashed cash, which turned to doo-doo.

What happens in this financial squeeze?
The Feds swoop in, and the bank they seize.
On activity they put a freeze.
Problem, too many palms seeking grease?

It’s a sand castle, built by “smart” guys.
But it appears they were spreading lies.
All those who were f**ked were then apprised
that big gains wouldn’t be realized.

Very many accounts were impaled.
Throughout the tech world, many folks wailed.
It was the second-biggest bank fail.
Will executives be put in jail?

After 2008 crash of banks,
there was a guardrail known as Dodd-Frank.
Near ten years later, that law was blanked.
Now déjà vu—what’s next to be tanked?
