Parody Song Title:

"The Bear Was Found Near a Fountain"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

The bear was found near a fountain
in Central Park…water spoutin’.
On such a sight no one’s countin’—
a freaky thing to see,
really weird thing to see.
How did this come to be?

There’s curiosity mountin’
about the bear near the fountain.
Laws someone must have been floutin’—
“How’d it get there?” ask we.

That’s a question we were mouthin’,
quietly or loudly shoutin’.
Some of us were even poutin’
’bout this chicanery
that’s there for all to see;
It’s sick as it can be.

Before long, answer was found in
confession that ceased confoundin’.
Who placed the bear by the fountain?
The culprit was Bobby.
