The Lyrics

Drifted sidewalks, slickened sidewalks—
it’s time for a fast ride.
The chill air gives a feeling of briskness.
Horse is dashing, quickly passing—
it’s so pretty outside.
It’s time to get that sleigh ride in gear.

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells—
it is the time for this ditty.
Hear those things, sleigh bells, ring.
Hop in that sled right away.

Freezing streets iced, and in a trice,
to a bank the horse veers.
Riders topple into snow together.
In the snow dumped;
their noses bump;
they can’t stifle their leers.
When they get home, wet clothes disappear.

Drinks, then pell-mell they relish
their bliss time…dick in kitty.
Hear them sing as they swing…
hopped into bed right away.
