The Lyrics

On June 28, 1997, during a heavyweight title bout, Mike Tyson bit off a chunk of Evander Holyfield's ear. The question, "What was he thinking?" came up time and time again. Hopefully, the following transcript of Tyson's thoughts at the time, will forever lay that question to rest.
Ty-y-son fight
Holyfield, Bite!
Mike be dumb
Not too bright

Fight be o-over
Crowd, they go wild
Holyfield, he say
Mike a small child
Spit Evander ear piece
Spi-it Evander ear piece

Ty-y-son fight
Holyfield win
Mike be back,
Ear have twin

Ringside,
Man have him head in him hand
Three rounds,
Him spending twenty-five grand
Who, the idiot be-ees?
Who-oo, the idiot bes?

Kind of a tricky tune to parody (wrote one myself), but you did a good job.

Can't mock this song enough. Good rhyming ideas

Rick C--I had to comment on your line, "split Evander ear piece" (is the word supposed to be "split"?) anyway, that's a pretty good rhyme for "sleep in heavenly peace"; and I love the song Silent Night.

Rick C---I get it, "spit" fits---anyway, it's a good and very unique rhyme.

Thanks, Stu. I wasn't sure how this one would go over. It's a little different from my usual stuff.
