Song Parodies -> "Barack and Hillary"

Original Song Title:

"Jack and Jill"

Original Performer:

Traditional Nursery Rhyme

Parody Song Title:

"Barack and Hillary"

Parody Written by:

Barry J. Mitchel

The Lyrics

The original nursery rhyme had 15 stanzas, the first of which is well known; I chose a combination of the second and third stanzas listed at http://www.jillwindmill.org.uk/rhyme.htm to parody, i.e.: Up Jill jumped, and home she ran, As fast as she could caper. Her mother spanked her across her knee, For laughing at Jack's disaster.
B'rack panned Hill, pent-up and shrill;
With fetching tale he fought her.
Hill fell down, and spoke "This crown
"I'll still claim, grumbling after."

Though Hill dumped her staff, shushed man,
Yet fast her lead would taper.
Poor mothers rankled that possibly
More awesome Barack slid past her.
