The Lyrics

Pity the cowboy on his butt,
Victim of Ferd'nand's aim,
Seein' pink stars and who knows what?
Luck's no long companion,
Bull ridin's one tough game..
Holdin' tornados in your hand
Wild as a dancehall dame
Showin' the world that you're a man
Not proud of bad landins'
Just glad you ain't lame..

Eight seconds on a bull
Brief moments, never dull
Don't try it when you're full'a
Re-fried beans..
Fort Worth to Cheyenne town
Bouncin' on air and ground,
Bull Ridin's gotcha' wearin' out your jeans

Saddled up on that Greyhound bus
Rollin' the interstate
Headed for your next Brahma tuss
Up ahead's a canyon,
Won't be long, you can't wait
Ready for today's rodeo
Saved up the entry. too
Worked on a ranch to make the dough,
Can't resist that man yen,
In the heart of you..

Eight seconds on a bull
Fannin' sky like a gull
Bull ridin' keeps ya' roamin' thru the west
Fort Worth to Cheyenne town
Bouncin' on air and ground,
Eight seconds on a bull makes you the best..

Eight seconds on that bull, now you're the best

I've never actually rode on a bull, but nice parody for a rodeo anthem! If I were to ride on a bull, I wouldn't last for even one second! Makes me want to go to Texas to see a real live rodeo! Think you'll also be writing a parody about bull fighting someday? This parody is no "bull", I'll tell you that! I've actually enjoyed it! 5 bounces, 5 spins, and 5 jolts while still staying on a bull for 8 seconds!
