Parody Song Title:

"Deep In The Art Of Texting"

Parody Written by:

Airfarcewon

The Lyrics

A car flies by
On road, no eye
(Tap,tap,tap,tap)
Deep In the art of texting

A busy teen
Works her machine
(Tap,tap,tap,tap)
Deep in the art of texting

Today, less talk
Like sidewalk chalk,
(Tap,tap,tap,tap)
Deep is the art of texting

Insult your boss,
Neighbor, across
(Tap,tap,tap,tap)
Deep in the art of texting

On your cellphone
Send words, alone
(Tap,tap,tap,tap)
Deep in the art of texting

In bed at night
Without a light
(Tap,tap,tap,tap)
A whole new way of sexing

In school, it floats
High tech passed notes
(Tap,tap,tap,tap)
Deep in the art of texting

The teacher sees
Just looks of tease
(Tap,tap,tap,tap)
It can be so perplexing

Who knows what's next
Beyond this text,
(Tap,tap, tap,tap)
Deep is the art of texting

Deep in the art of texting

AFW, this is yet another work of art from your word processor. DKTOS, but no vote, however, I have a little story for you. When I was moving from South Dakota to Oregon after my sister accidentally ran herself over with my 1972 Chevy pickup (which I sold thereafter, hopefully there will be no "Christine" behavior with its new owner), I was driving through Wyoming last December in my 1979 Chevy Impala station wagon with a rented Uhaul trailer in tow, and I was sideswiped by this young girl who had an uncanny resemblance to Yours Truly in a blue Prius, who was texting. Thankfully, nothing happened there that was serious, but when I got settled in Eugene, I decided to replace the Impala Wagon with a brown 1978 Dodge Magnum. By the way, the Prius driver did not stop or do anything remotely similar to doing the duty of a driver. A classic hit-and-run.

Thanks again, Andria..What a terrible tragedy about your sister...yes, I believe texting is used quite recklessly by some behind the wheel..also regular cell use...and thanks Jason and alvin..

As someone with two daughters who have gotten "deep in the art of texting" I can relate, and I can also tell you that you've nailed it. 555

L'Air de Farce, this is a great modern wonder ! It is so true and quite cleverly written! My nephew (age 17) ran up a bill of $400 one month . . . He thought vowels were FREE !

Excellent job of creating those 4-syllable verses.

This is such a fun read! Yeah, I text my friends every now and then, but I always end up paying extra. This seems like an easy song to do a parody on. The lyrics are very catchy, very organized, and fluently paced! That's genius! Great work, AFW!! 555!!
