Parody Song Title:

"The Wizard of IZ"

Parody Written by:

Royce Miller

The Lyrics

Follow a silver-tongued road, tra la
Follow the silver-tongued road, tra la
Follow, follow, follow, follow
Follow the silver-tongued road....

We all recall the Wizard--
The wonderful Wizard of IZ
He had the gift of garbled gab
If ever a wizard did
If ever oh ever some sex he did
"Twas kept underneath the Wizard's lid
Becoz becoz becoz becoz becoz
Becoz of the mighty landslide that slid
'Twas quite a cunning lizard--
The wonderful Wizard of IZ

Might ye be meanin' a lad we knew in the years 1992-2000 B.C.? Clever idea...very well executed...5's

I did wonder who this one was about at first--still, you did a great job playing on the original lyrics so closely. 5-5-5.

yes, Ingeborg, I was just counting on people to recall the discussion during the Clinton years about the meaning of the word "is"-very amusing if you look at what he actually said at that time, and how slick he was about how he said it

Clever parody, Royce! If Billy Boy Clinton was The Wizard, who was The Scarecrow, The Tin Man, The Cowardly Lion, The Wicked Witch of The West, The Good Witch of The North, Dorothy, and Toto?

Johnny, I'm sure you could come up with an answer to that much sooner than I could. But my dog could play Toto.

Why this country attempted to destroy a great president over consenual sex continues to boggle the mind. Using this standard, the current occupant of the White House should be shot for war crimes.

Royce - I voted on this earlier but didn't realize that comments were enabled until I looked at latest comments and someone yelled this out. I have three words to say about this but I'll use them many times:

That, that is, is. That, that is not, is not, that is.

And Guy, to extend your thesis, on the English test, Hatty Hadder had had had whereas Hadley Haddad hah hah had had; had Haddad's had had had had the teacher's approval, Haddad would have passed (that "had" before "Haddad" means "if", I think...).

Well done, Royce. In Johnny D's scenario, I commend your restraint for not suggesting Hillary for a particular role. But Al Gore was definitely stiff enough to play the tin man.

JJ, I like that, Stiff Al as The Tin Man....I can just imagine him murmuring to a Secret Service agent, without moving his lips, "...oil can...oil can..." - - - consider him cast!
Guy - November 12, 2004 - Report this comment
So JD - Now is it this? "That depends on what you definiton of 'had' is". So now it's clear. We've been had.

Boy, I handed you THAT one on a silver platter, Guy! Touché !

I needed the Comments to realize you hadn't misspelled the Wizard of Id. Of course, if ever there were a wizard of id, that's Clinton's successor.
