Sometimes a song you hear for the first time, is innocent and sweet sounding. Then you listen closer to the lyrics, and realize
it's talking about stuff you didn't realize. Double-entendres help disguise the filthiest of songs.

Tiffany's,
"I Think We're Alone Now"
Children behave
that's what they say when we're together
And watch how you play
They don't understand and so we're
Running just as fast as we can
Holding on to one another's hand
Trying to get away into the night
and then you put your arms around me
and we tumble to the ground and then
you say
I think we're alone now
there doesn't seem to be
anyone around
I think we're alone now
The beating of our hearts
is the only sound.
This song seems to be about how kids can sneak away to have sex when their parent's backs are turned.

I was young when this came out, so I figured that they were falling down because they tripped or something. I heard the song on the radio once when I was about 15 and realized that sweet little Tiffany was talking about getting her teenage freak on. It was quite an ephiany, and the whole song finally made sense. I'm a little slow sometimes.
