"Call Me Maybe"
The Nonsensical Lyrics: Before you came into my life
I missed you so bad Why They're Nonsensical: To "miss" something is to have known it before but now feel the absence of it. But if something has never been in your life before, you can't "miss" it. If something hasn't been in a person's life before then they can't know about it's absence. A person may miss feelings of love so "Before you came into my life / I missed love so bad" would be accurate. Likewise anything general might be something that a person would miss without knowing a particular (eg dating, guys, passion, etc.); you just can't miss a particular object if you didn't know about it in the first place.

The Nonsensical Lyrics: I threw a wish in the well
Why They're Nonsensical: Maybe in Canada it's different, but here in the States, we throw coins into a well to get wishes out of it. (Or maybe by throwing wishes in the well, she's just re-stocking the it with wishes for the rest of us to get?)
