Misheard Lyrics: She's so funky, yeah.
Original Lyrics: Jeux sans frontiers.

Story about this misheard lyric by: Andrew Brown I genuinely thought that's what the lyrics were despite being fluent in French. They do fit the song. It wasn't until several years later that I discovered I was wrong when I saw the lyrics written down somewhere, but I can still only hear "She's so funky, yeah" even now. |

In that tenderness, I am floating away No certainty, nothing to rely on Holding still for a moment What a moment this is Oh for a moment of forgetting, a moment of bliss Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I can hear the distant thunder Of a million unheard souls Of a million unheard souls Watch each one reach for creature comfort For the filling of their holes Why They're Dirty: Well, is it or is it not? if you just laid down your tracks 2.) Open up your fruit cage, cause I will be your honey bee, open up your fruit cage, where the fruit there is as sweet as can be Why They're Dirty: Not until about 2 years after initially hearing it. The first lyric is a long list of different types of lovers the woman can have. The second lyric is an obvious plee for him to perform oral sex.

Why: When I was a teenager I was listening one night to a rock radio station and the lady DJ played this song. She said that us listeners were not halluncinating, that a German friend of hers had sent her a German language copy of Peter Gabriel's hit "Shock the Monkey". It was absolutely amazing. It stoked some conversations around the locker door halls in school the next day.
