Parody Song Title:

"You Kneaded Me"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I was just flour,
Dry in a bowl
You added yeast
To give me soul
Then you poured in,
Water to dampen me
You stirred me up
Gave me consistency
And then,
You Kneaded me

Chorus:
You gave me strength
You warmed me with your hand
Then pressed me flat
And rolled me smooth again
You twirled me high above the countertop
I knew that you would never miss and let me drop
You Kneaded Me,
You Kneaded Me

Let me set, I puffed up so
Poked me back into dough..
And kneaded me, replaced my air
In a nice warm place,
Gave me my space
And made me proud,
Proud to be your loaf endowed
So plump and fair..

Then in a pan
You baked me just
Your special way
All crisp of crust
Buttered me up,
And held me to your lips,
I'll show my thanks,
By sticking to your hips,
My calories are pips..

You gave me shape,
And warmed me with your hand
Then pressed me flat,
And rolled me smooth again
You twirled me high above the countertop
I knew that you would never miss and let me drop
You Kneaded Me
You Kneaded Me

This deliciously doughy song about bread made me laugh in so many ways. 555 Golden Hash browns for you. It reminded me of that movie The Brave Little Toaster. That movie was one of my favourites. The whole feel of the song is like a Pixar movie- very vibrant and wonderful. It's soooo cute.

Look it up on wikipedia sometime. Basically it's a delightful animated film about about a toaster and his friends who go on a quest to find their "master". It featured Phil Hartman as the voice of the Peter Lorre-like hanging lamp and the Jack Nicholson-like air conditioner.
