Parody Song Title:

"All He'd Want to Do Is Scream"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Screa-ea-ea-ea-eam, scream, scream, scream.

Figure has each hand on arm
Held to its face, showing alarm.
Androgynous figure has one thing to do; that's
Screa-ea-ea-ea-eam, scream, scream, scream.

A stream of blue highlights fright,
A hemal hue seems sky's twilight.
The amorphous figure later used for "Boo!" in
"Screams," "1," "2," "3."

Is it gal or guy who emits the cry?
What's the bi figure say?
Appears trouble is hers/his;
It screams as twilight conquers day.

Two people go, a gal and guy,
'cross the bridge, so upright and high,
Forming sharp contrast to the curled figure who just
Screa-ea-ea-ea-eams, screams, screams, screams,
Scre-ea-ea-ea-eams.

Painted by a guy named Munch; symbolized
Existential dismays.
But one trouble is, "Scream" biz:
There's been thievin' in several ways.

Abused canvas was taken twice,
Face used in the C/craven* franchise.
I bet if Munch saw them, all he'd want to do is
Screa-ea-ea-ea-eam, scream, scream, scream,
Screa-ea-ea-ea-eam, scream, scream, scream. . . !

*Wes Craven, director of the three "Scream" movies

Good parody! Imagine...a painting reduced to commercial use. Now ask the kiddies where it came from and they will give you every answer except a painting. 5's

Yeah, this is a great job...but I think TOS was from the 50's (I thought you would've known that, since you were alive then), so you shoulda used miscellany. It still gets a 5/5/5.

A 5 for "androgynous", a 5 for "amorphous", and a 5 for "existential": three words I never thought I'd see in a parody of an Everley Brothers song! Great stuff

To me it looks like "The Yawn" - borrring! But this parody isn't.
