The Lyrics

Mr. Browning’s* saga: sanguine slaughter:
Girl’s grasped, sharp fangs surge; harm from his snare.
Bloodlust-mad, he’s gonna glug it down;
It’s like a beer you’d chug, bub, in a pub ’round 9:00.

He wants to bleed her, make her his “daughter.”
Fells her as he leeches on her vein.
She’ll then change and also glug it down,
Because honed teeth he stuck to suck on her mainline.

Stalking about—eating slit-neck crowd. . .belts,
A drinking bout—canine poke, squeals so loud,

If he finds you, and you’re drowsy, sleeping
(Down and sleeping)
Hell, you won’t feel well ’cause he’ll have tined
(He’ll have dined)
You’re bled of donations from the heart
You’ll feel weak in the knees
He’ll scream: “Your blood is mined!”

Stalking about in a chicken crowd;
Helsing sticks it stout; takes a poke, squeal’s so loud.

Stiff that spike he pounded in the creature
(In the creature)
Helsing, van, is swell, a steely spine
(Steely spine)
She’s shed of his hold and can take heart
From the freak she’s set free
For him, end of the line

Mr. Browning’s saga: sanguine slaughter
(Sanguine slaughter)
Mr. Browning. . .other flicks ’bout slaughter**
(Flicks ’bout slaughter)
Mr. Browning started in non-talkers
(In non-talkers)
Early Browning talkie: the blood stalker
(The blood stalker)

Great take on Browning's saga, though I've never seen his movies. I saw some pics of Dracula on IMDB. That's in for the "Count"! Sink your teeth into some 5's!

Thanks, Christie. Check out "Freaks" sometime.
