"Six Thousand Rhymes"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Big the blitzes I was on in the days that are long gone.
Then drew near, a winsome goal: six thousand rhymes.
A lotta time, a lotta rhymes, I wrought a awful lotta lines.
Monikers I sometimes chose in plying rhymes.

Loads of fun, wrote a slew, revelry often in store.
For long time amiright was my home.
Most that were sewn have been my own, some that were shown, as if I’d cloned
myself; so I wasn’t always alone.

I gave birth to a batch, playing the parody game
on I droned…over the hump I made my way
Cranked away nights and days; now I’ve made it all the way…
even more, past the chore of 6K.

I have written for so long; I’ve done 6-0-2-5 songs.
On with more I just can’t go—quit…out of rhymes.
