Parody Song Title:

"Soap Gets In Your Eyes"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

When you badly ablute,
tears may not be moot.
You’re saponified,
tears well up inside; soon you will have cried.
And then for a short time, you’ll feel like you’re blind.
You may fill with ire
when orb nerves apprise: Soap gets in your eyes.

It’s a gaffe to touch them—you won’t laugh;
so resist the urge to rub.
Instead spray with water…dunk head way
down into a full tub.

You’ll take it all in stride;
tears will then subside.
Doing things this way
will obviate your cries—
soap won’t sting your eyes.
Soak those soapy eyes!
