The "Folsom Street Fair" is an annual event in San Francisco... it's kind of a fetish party, things you never knew existed (and didn't want to!). This has been through a few revisions, as you can imagine, to be "cleaned up," so I hope this one makes it through...

Heels, spiked collars, and leather hydes,
If it's your first time, you might get a scare,
Any type of fetish you'll find.

Everyone putting their difference aside,
Straights and gays, transgendered and dykes,
Don their clothes and wear them with pride.

Maybe you'll find me a tight leather shirt,

Sounds like a Key West Fantasy Fest, on Halloween! Everyone not dressed like Jimmy Buffet's Magaritaville, is dressed as you described. I've seen a few weird costumes at biker events too!

Great job, LeLo. Now parody "Canticle" and get RAD & MAD to sing the two together. I've never been to the FSF but would love to. But -(Diiiva & Wild - you still listening?) I have been to Fantasy Fest two years in a row and looooove it. Surprisingly, they don't throw parties like that in Utah.

Leah, Really good! Glad I looked in on this before heading out. Tomorrow is my (not so) grand exit here. Today was actually fun, I really didn't do squat (the calls are pretty light now) but socialize and reminisce (did I spell that right?? I don't know and it's too late to look it up). I was in a very upbeat frame of mind and I think that made the other folks a lot more comfortable about saying good-bye. Anyway, as far as I know the Company is only firing me, not killing me, so I plan to stop by a couple times before the rest of the group is "Adios'd" and many have requested I keep them up on my various writings, such as they are. And they all can link here to "Amiright" if they want to check out my parodies. Well, NOW I'm outta here for the evening (or morning). Will look at the site a little bit tomorrow but have stuff going on elsewhere so I have to really try and not dawdle. Later.
