The Lyrics

We know everyone loves dog parodies, so we decided to jump on the Gravy Train...
I yip all day
And my teeth are sharp, remember!
I have a bone
Lazing 'neath my ribbons - begging treats you know
I'm a Kennel Clubbing prideful best of show
I am a dog
I'm a West Highland

Still got balls
A corgi bitch excites me
Cushions we desecrate
I'm really into biting - biting causes pain
My barking drives the neighbors half insane
I am a dog
I'm a West Highland

I'm walking fluff
And it swirls upon the floor
Dustmop-like with no handle see
I'm so perturbed that under this shielding are my eyes
With this furry stuff I might as well be blind
I am a dog
I'm a West Highland

Steer clear of cooks
'Cus I'm delicacy in some countries
If I've yielded to good Karma
Reincarnate soon - hope will be a boon
Be much more fun - a pit bull I could be!
I am a dog
I'm a West Highland

Give me not Gravy Train
Only Science Diet buy...

I love it! So many great lines. Example of a clever one with great internal rhyme: "If I’ve yielded to good Karma" .... LOL ! 5's

Best rhyme so far for Island, huh JD? Great parody you two. This was pretty doggone funny.

Yup, "West Highland" might have been, for me, if I had written this parody, the key phrase that led to all the rest!

Yeah, I agree with the Prolific Pair here; well done

Give me not Gravy Train Only Science Diet buy… AWESOME!!! You clever little hobbitses really nailed this parody! You may also have written my theme song. I was kind of a depressed kid and I identified with the original. Now that I call myself Pooch, it's a natural!! Seriously, this is picture perfect - and that's the dog's honest truth!

Arf! A funny parody about a funny subject. I had heard a rumor that dog show people put corks up the dogs' butts so that they don't have an "accident" during the show!

If my mutt was human, I'd be married. Nice job. BTW, if you've never seen "Best In Show", it's worth the $10 to buy the DVD.
