Parody Song Title:

"(I Ain't Got No) Inspiration"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I ain't got no inspiration
I ain't got no inspiration
'Cause it's trite
What I write
And it might
Just be shite
I ain't got no..
I ain't got no...

When I'm tryin' to rhyme a word
And I'm searchin' on the internet
And it tells me "bird" or "turd"
But it's useless information
's gone and fried my imagination
I ain't got no.. no, no, no
Eh? Eh? Eh? What that you say?

I ain't got no inspiration
I ain't got no inspiration
Though I try
And I sigh
And I cry
Why, oh why
I ain't got no..
I ain't got no...

When I'm typing on my keys
With a plan for something sparkly
Distraction comes for me
And then whooosh! goes the plan, and it ain't no joke
I sit distractedly
I ain't got no.. no, no, no
AOK? No not today...

I ain't got no inspiration
Hope it's just an aberration
Though I try
And imply
Maybe I
Gonna die
I ain't got no..
I ain't got no...

When I'm searching for a pun
She says "double this and entendre that"
So I say I'll give her one
She tell me "Baby that was rather pathetic 'n' weak
And you used the same one just last week"
I ain't got no, oh no no no
May-ay-day, that's what I say

I ain't got no
I ain't got no..
I ain't got no inspiration
No inspiration, no inspiration, no inspiration

P-p-p-eople see I got a frown ('cause I got no inspiration)
Can't think o' nothin' to write d-d-down ('Cause I got no inspiration)
Give me quite a bit of f-f-f-rustration ('Cause I got no inspiration)
'Cause I got no inspiration

.."Who?" You ask.. Just a paltry bit of Daltrey

It was inspired to slip into "My Generation" at the end.

Thanks :-)
This one came about from two things I'd not expected: first, I couldn't believe I'd not done this song before, and second, when I searched I found nobody else had used "inspiration" as a sub...
Dylan - I generally use rhymezone if I'm really stuck, but most of the time I use a text file I've built up over the years: it's got silly ones as well as things that actually do rhyme

excellent Phil, esp. "double this and entendre that" and all the different rhymes for "try" - hmm seems a tough OS that one - 555

Phil A. word: absurd, preferred nerd heard... Am I the only one with about 200 unfinished parodies, too much inspiration, and not enough time? For sale to the highest bidder... Bidding starts at 555.

I concur with Red Ant, Phil...the MyGen metamorphosis at the end was inspired. I feel your pain; my inspirationless periods are a real downer. 555

Excellent Phil, an anthem that all parodists can relate to...
