Parody Song Title:

"Glenn"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Glenn, your screws are loose; you screech and roar;
Your throat sounds come from a feral bore
And then endlessly you drone,
Senseless what you intone.
A penitentiary
For the insane should be
Now your residency.

Glenn, your mouth is running. . .just hot air
Streams forth; you will give the tots a scare.
You’re out of your f**king mind;
The papers should be signed
So that you can now go
To the bin; you can crow
For the docs, do your show.

Your useless braying and screams. . .
Give residents bad dreams.
Think of them as friends, the teams
Dispensing Thorazine.

Glenn, sane people drive-heave, turn away
When they listen to crazed words you say.
They can see, you’re loose a screw,
In fact, loose is a slew.
Your thinking, it’s clear, Glenn,
Makes you a bin denizen,
Bin denizen.
Tie Glenn
Down, friends!

You sure made this sentimental song so hilarious, now I can't stop laughing! I'm still laughing as of now! This talk about Glenn Beck is so incredible and Beck needs Prozac so bad! I remembered that time when Cenk said he didn't know what the f**k he's talking about when Beck shed crocodile tears on air! Enjoyed this parody lots! 555!

This is the third Glenn Beck song in one day. He must be good. I read one of his books. Have heard parts of his radio show. Sounds as normal as Rush Limbaugh to me. I'll have to catch his TV show. Don't have cable. After taxes, can't afford it.

you are a great parodist, too bad your kids and grandkids will know that you continued to enable this two faced muslum mouse odumba. be honest somewhere along the line and call a muslum rat a muslum rat. not possible with most libs however. but you are very talented, and i can admit that. it doesnt change my life. honesty is good. and quit being afraid of republicans who have NO power, instead, BRAG on how the odumbinator is helping all of us in america. just words, just speeches . . .

More drugging of those with whom you disagree... ...Since you criticized rob elsewhere on grammar, spelling, etc. , I'll point out that "penitentiary for the insane" is a contradiction or oxymoron. Penitentiaries are to punish criminals. Those found by courts to be insane, to the point of being a danger to themselves and others, are involuntarily committed to psychiatric hospitals (formerly, "asylums"), and not placed in penitentiaries. I thought you would know that.

Should you wish to continue trying to refute your critics by criticizing their English skills as opposed to their ideas (a form of the logical fallacy known as "argumentum ad hominem"), I'll be very happy to play that game with you. I must warn you that I'm very, very good at it, having been a proofreader and copy-editor as part of my professional duties for some years. (I don't type very well, though, and this comment box doesn't permit previewing.)

The Soviet Union made substantial use of the technique of declaring all dissidents to be "insane" and locking them up in such hospitals. I'm sorry for you that that empire collapsed of its own evil before you had a chance to emigrate there, but the danger is that you might have found yourself the recipient of the chlorpromazine, rather than the administrator. Please keep that in mind -- it's a two-edged sword.

TT - The term penitentiary has fallen out of use and is not considered politically correct. The term that is being pushed now is "Correction Facility", but then how would John have fit the term into his parody?
