Original Song Title:

"Cecilia"

Original Performer:

Simon & Garfunkel

Parody Song Title:

"Sissy’s Leo"

Parody Written by:

Merry & Pippin

The Lyrics

A low-bitrate mp3 of the song can be found here.
Sissy’s Leo, she’s changing her parts
Re’rranging her slot for one male-y
Oh Sissy’s Leo: new ‘quipment - she’s pleased
Her leg above knees has cojones

Sissy’s Leo, she’s made choice that’s smart
She quakes that procedure won’t fail-y
Oh Sissy’s Leo: Leona’s now “he”
She’s taking that testosterone
(Wants a bone)

Checked emails on one afternoon
When Sis, she saw one: and it lifted gloom
Doctor Nick: he took the case
Forty-nine ninety-five
And threw in a new face

Sissy’s Leo she’s made a new start
Her pregnancy options curtailing
Oh Sissy’s Leo looks down and she sees
For ‘pegging’ a teasing dong honed
Holds her own!

Operation
Has stuff now convex
Is concave no more and it’s chaffing

Admiration
She’s reaching her zen
It falls towards floor - it’s a staff-thing

Did you mean "chafing" as in "to chafe?"

Another good line might have been "now gets to stand up when she's peeing"

"Forty-nine ninety-five - And threw in a new face": sounds like what Earl Scheib would have done had he not gone into painting cars. Well done, Merry and Pippin.

M&P - This one really stands out. Hilarious.

And Pat - You should have thought about your comment before you posted it. This could be taken to mean something you did not intend. Hope you are not going by Patrick now? =;-)

Now don't start having people confuse me as a male again, Guy. It was hard enough to convince them otherwise. And how could such an innocuous statement meaning that I liked their parody mean that I'm going to become a 'Patrick'? Let me set everybody straight...I am a female and intend to stay that way. I like being a female. So there! :)

Pat - Your comment reminded me of some classic church bulletin bloopers, such as:

"The ladies of the Church have cast off clothing of every kind. They may be seen in the basement on Friday afternoon."

"A bean supper will be held on Tuesday evening in the church hall. Music will follow."

And two about the choir that are sure to please you - I hope...

"Next Thursday there will be tryouts for the choir. They need all the help they can get."

"At the evening service tonight, the sermon topic will be "What is Hell?" Come early and listen to our choir practice." =;-)
