The Lyrics

A low-bitrate mp3 of the song can be found here.
Seized eels, yeah, inspector I art
They’re sneaking in contraband morays
Those seized eels, yuck, they’re slimy when squeezed
These plague-y things queasy from l’eau

Seized eels, yeah, they’re breaking the law
Meet lampreys and snakes and snipes daily
I seize eels yeah, those smugglers displease
When bagging electric ones though
Leave me prone!

Working Customs - I meet buffoons
Secrete eels, yeah, stuffed in pantaloons
“Open up”: I said of case
No lace panties, instead
Conger stared in my face

Seized eels, yeah, importing’s an art
Those snake-things I confiscate daily
Those seized eels, yeah they’re on the increase
I'm snagging concealed ones below
‘Bove the toe

Trepidation
Rub’ gloving again
They fall out from where they’ve been shafting

Vindication
We’re laughing again
Cos’ they were sawtooths and were chaffing!

Good turnaround of the songs title into siezed eels (squeezed eels?) Fun tongue-twister going, hehe. 5's

wonderfully serpentine slice of sliminess...still getting over the mental imagery of an eel in one's pantaloons...my fave of the day

Okay, that got me nearly tearing up with laughter here at work. Cecilia holds a special place in my heart. I loved it as a little kid, dancing around to the beat.

There aren't many parodies that fit into one screen that can pack so much lyrically, very good job here.

Eel be right ! Loving the latest installment to your repertoire of "Cecilia's" :)

M&P - "“Open up”: I said of case" - I absolutely love this kind of sentence syntax. I usually get a "hit" from the grammar police when I do it but yours slips by like a greased lamprey. Absolutely the best in Cecilia spoofing. There is absolutely no fishiness about this parody even 'though the smugglers are a bit fishy. I'm fishin' out three 5s from my eel tank for this little gem.

As in:

"And they stow de-boned, wet and brown" ?

Thanks Derry !

LOL! I toss parody titles at Pippin all the time without telling him the original song, and he usually cannot figure them out. It's harder than it looks sometimes. (If/when he sees this he may still be going: huh?)

A pair of clever clogs huh? Dutch treat.

It is The Eagles. Given I got that right, I refuse to stoop so low as to supply you with the title!
