The Lyrics

I'm only reposting because due to a typo the original didn't make it on my author list... Feel free to vote again, or not, whatever!
It's your brother's wedding, everyone's in town,
Then that black-haired DeeJay starts playing "Stayin' Alive,
And then, on your own, you started to jive...
Your awkward little jive.

Your arms are swirling, but your feet are heavy,
Jerking your head kinda like Eugene Levy
Bobbin yourself around like you've got nothing to lose
Working all your white moves,
Flailing like you haven't got a clue,
Bringin on your white moves--

And you're out of time,
Mmm,
And the beat's, outta time.

You're no Fred Astaire, no you're far from it
Doing the broken chicken wing and the funky bunny
Got the style of former senator Bob Dole
Haven't got any soul
You join the Conga line at any chance you could
Doing the moonwalk, like any, good white boy would
You can't seem to do Roger Rabbit but you don't have a care
You're showing all your flair.
Workin all your white moves,
Looks like someone gave you too much booze
Bringing on the white moves,

Mmm, try to shake your behind
Mmm, shake, your behind, your behind

Whoah, Watching
It's really frightening, yeah--
All the dances you were botching,
Dances you were botching!

You start to do the Hussle with Stevie Wonder,
And far off I sat and pondered,
Started doing the wave like it's 1982
Ain't it funny how your white moves
Make you look like Huey Lewis and the News,
Strange how you're white moves
Don't seem to have an end.

(Pause - Guitar Solo)

Mmm
White Moves
Mmm
White Moves
yeah
I remember
Oh sure remember your white moves
Was it as funny as I remember
Was it as funny as I remember
I remember I remember I remember I remember
oooohh ohh ohh
And we were laughin'
Laughing and pointin'
Laughing and pointin' at all your white moves
White moves
Oooooh I remember
Yeah I remember
Lord I remember Lord I remember.

Leah, It would be a crime (if only a White-Collar one) if you didn't get credit for this on your overall totals. Is this the one where you mispelled your own name?

Thanks Paul.... it seems as though I typed a SPACE after my name, so now its floating in no-name land. :-(. Oh well...

So now you get proper credit. Pal.

Leah, don't know if you are still looking on the site...I was working on a "Night Moves" parody and wanted to see what was out there to make sure I didn't step on anybody toes with the same story...this was really very good...oh, yeah...I did that "extra space after my name" thing a couple times myself...ticked me off...5's here if it counts me vote...
