The Lyrics

The un-cleaned-up version was a tad funnier, but that one wouldn't squeak through... ;-)
It seems so sleazy - confusion reigns
When you claimed to be straight - now revealed
That I'm denied your love, 'cus with all that you're done.

You did deceive me
All I can see is two girls I once knew
Although I pressed much for your time
By sex I stand severed from you

How could we keep on datin'? - you had it feigned
Could be gay all your life - sounds unreal
Checking out all the bimbos, gazing at women's buns

Said "I don't need 'em"
Bumming around, trying not to feel blue
But nothing suppressed my sad pall
A beaver rejected times two!

Don't lie to me, Marge and Tina
The truth is you never meant to
Tall dreams of wild lays
But had resistance
You slept with damas
Won't sleep with misters

It's my poor fortune, now I'm in pain
I loved them but to my chagrin
Those obscene little girls sent me into the mire

I'm in confusion
Yours - not the intrusions intended to be
No chance to plug holes in the dikes
You bluffed me and groped all lesbies

Don't lie to me, Marge and Tina

Don't lie to me, Marge and Tina
The truth is you never meant to
Tall dreams of wild lays
But had resistance
You slept with damas
Won't sleep with misters

Were you born too butch?
There's nothing more I can do now to lay with you
You still both have all of your hooks in me although
No fun occurred with you

"No chance to plug holes in the dikes" - amazing what changing a single letter can do - from explicit to double entendre - Merry and Pippin, you two members of the species Homo Sapiens are parody-writin'-geniuses. Well done! 5's

Thanks Johnny! That spelling was one of the two changes we made to clean it up! ;-) And we changed 'muffs' in the first verse back to love... ;-)

Madonna ??? Heehee.......his is great, I love it ! Shame it had to go through the censors...... Oh and Julie Covington circa '77 had a much better version btw ;-)

Excellent, you two. I've done this song and it is extremely hard to pace since only the chorus seems to have any substance to it. The rest of the melody is kind of ho hum, I thought, but you two have pulled it off again.

Yes! Thanks mandamoo Johnny and Guy for your comments. And mandamoo, you are quite right, the Julie Covington version is FAR superior.....
