Over-priced popcorn is what subsidizes movies, just as over-long, over-loud commercials pay for TV. It's too bad the popcorn is better than the film, but I imagine that happens a lot these days.

Be careful with that stuff, it can kill you! The popcorn, I mean. And the movies, and I don't mean the Aurora massacre.

Nice lightweight theme, easy to sing along with. I haven't seen the films you mentioned. Thanks for the tip-off. I'll add them to my long list of ones to avoid.

As Patrick mentioned, I've heard a lot of theaters survive on their snack franchises. That explains a lot.
