"Have Yourself, Nobody Else For Christmas"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Have yourself, nobody else for Christmas
Skip the relatives
Chill, this year,
Enjoy tranquility, it gives..

Have yourself a solitary Christmas
Read a book, or snooze
Turn the tv off,
Too sad, the tragic news..

Here you are
In your snuggie wrap
Pet dog on your lap
With fleas..
Meditate,
Fix a turkey plate,
Cold cuts, if you please..

Have yourself a "By Your Lonesome" Christmas
Tho' lonesome you're not..
No pine tree, have fun
With what you haven't got..
You may just learn
That all this nothing is a lot..

You may just learn
That all this nothing is a lot

Was planning to go see the opening of the "Les Miserables" movie. Assuming 21 December doesn't intervene.

AFW, I'll be alone for Xmas, so I can definately identify with this. I used to go all-out for Xmas but after losing my job to disability and all my savings to medical bills and then friends and family fasing away... I'm just not that festive this time of year. I'll just be glad if I'm NOT in the hospital again this year!!! 555 and Merry Xmas (no apocalypse pending at all).

Sorry, Airfarce, seem to have missed you on my 'rounds' again! Yep, there sure is a lot to be said for loneliness at Xmas, or should I say 'aloneness'. As my relatives are about 6,000 miles away, I'm usually spared the bunfights, but I do miss the family warmth too, not to mention the breezy, balmy Victorian summer, not tropical sauna like poor Pippin's Brisbane home. Have yourself a very little Christmas.

I may be getting a bit senile, but I know this is not me talking to myself...from the content, I would guess it's Lifeliver...thanks, and also, have a merry one..

How embarrassment and good guess. Hope I didn't stress you out - you don't want to feel THAT lonely, lol.
