Tosser = A contemptible person (used as a general term of abuse)

Beer barrel…suppin’ from is cool
Downin’: I love to…then I act a fool
I’m thirsty…so I’ll drink one dry
Then, for some nookie…I will surely try
Boozin’ makes me want to fight my brother…then to bonk a ho
Have sev’ral, maybe…lined up in a row
I will always want to pork a cheap tart…or meddle with a ewe
Beer barrel…I’m so in love with brew

Beer barrel…held a bitter pool
Turnin’ a grey hue…fallin’ off my stool
One hurt knee…and one blackened eye
Butt is all leaky…I’m a poorly guy
Shoutin’ “You’re a tosser” is my mother…an’ my dad an’ bro
I’m lookin’ sickly…feel I’m gonna throw
I’m ill, so no boff due with a cheap tart…I’d find it hard to do
Beer barrel…I’m so messed up on brew

Did you know that this was written to/inspired by his baby-sitter, on whom he had a crush, Carole --- King?

More great syllable-matching and clever switching -- clearly written *before* the "research" was done. xD
Three six-packs -- oops, I grabbed one from each for myself -- 3 5-packs for you, Mate.

LOL @ first comment!

Re: second comment: Never seen a sheep ranch? There's plenty for everyone (unlike, say, a "bar") ... and I think that's why, in en-BR, friends are called "Mates".

We drive to the ranch
Whilst sip a few brews
Then Matey and me,
We "mates" with the ewes!

Thanks to Mark, AFW, TT (Yes, I knew it was about CK but didn't know she used to baby sit for him), FG (It sure is, unless your ailment is cirrhosis) & TT2 (I didn't know mate was yet another UK only)

"Mate" (as a noun, not the verb, "to mate") is used on board a ship (Capt., First Mate) and similar situations. Else, one's mate is one's spouse or Significant Other. Gender-neutral would be "teammate", "classmate", etc. -- partner in a specific activity. But as generic for "friend" or "buddy", it's pretty much UK/CW, though the Dundee movies brought a lot of Ozzie slang to the US -- until the fad died.
