Moe Bandy & Joe Stampley		Hey Joe, Hey Moe		These two solo male country singers teamed up in the late 70s and early 80s for a string of successful hit country songs, which were usually lighthearted and humorous in nature, this being one of them. It's actually a remake of a song titled Hey Joe that was originally recorded by Carl Smith in the early 50s. They recorded it for a duet album they were doing and released it as a single. Boudleaux Bryant who wrote the original Hey Joe, was involved with Bandy and Stampley's version, actually rewriting his song with new lyrics just for them.
