"Misty"
The Funny Lyrics: Walk my way,
And a thousand violins begin to play. Why They're Funny: Oh, how that makes true love such a hard thing to call. So often have I been deceived in my search for true love when someone walked my way and only 999 violins began to play! Hilarious.

"A Certain Smile"
The Nonsensical Lyrics: A certain smile, a certain face
Can lead an unsuspecting heart on a merry chase Why They're Nonsensical: Hearts can't be suspecting or unsuspecting, and they can't chase anyone or anything.

"Small World"
The Misrhymed Lyrics: We have so much in common, it's a phenomenon
Why They're Misrhymed: Would have worked as a rhyme, except for that troublesome last syllable of 'phenomenon', which just dangles there without being part of the rhyme.

"Merry Christmas"
The Inappropriate Lyrics: Santa Claus will stop,
And I know he'll drop Exactly what you wanted From your chimney top. Why They're Inappropriate: Gee, hope that "exactly what you wanted" isn't breakable! This isn't the usual Santa Claus story. In the usual version he comes down the chimney with what you want (If you're nice, at least!) and puts it in your stocking. I like the usual version better! This song as a whole isn't bad, but it probably is my least favorite on Mathis' cd album called "Winter Wonderland."
