Some songs have titles that aren't used in the lyrics, and end up becoming better known for their lyrics than their title. Bob Dylan's "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35" is better known for the refrain "Everybody must get stoned" than it is for the title.
Band | Song | Comments & Submittor Name
Queen | Bohemian Rhapsody | They change how the song is played four times, yet never say the title. - Brian Kelly
Queen | The Prophet's Song | "The prophet" is in the lyrics, however. - AdmiralMercurial
Queens Of The Stone Age | The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret | Whatever you do, don't tell anyone. - Char
Queens Of The Stone Age | 3's and 7's | Should be called 'The Truth Hurts', but it doesn't sound cool. - Paul Warren
Quiet Riot | Metal Health (Bang Your Head) | The chorus has the line "bang your head! Metal health will drive you mad", but as you can see, that is not exactly the title, as the words are in a different order. - GlamRockNinjaLord
Quietdrive | Take a Drink | Better title might be the catchy refrain "It's Not Fo Sho". - Alex
quirinusquirrell@yahoo.com | Diamond Eyes | Not once is "Diamond Eyes" mentioned in the lyrics for this song. "Expendable" would be a much better name. It has nothing to do with the movie The Expendables, either. - Mike |
