Some songs have titles that aren't used in the lyrics, and end up becoming better known for their lyrics than their title. Bob Dylan's "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35" is better known for the refrain "Everybody must get stoned" than it is for the title.

David Bowie | Ziggy Stardust | David says "Ziggy" six times in the song, which is six times more than he says "Stardust" - Alan of Seville
David Cook | Bar-Ba-Sol | This song was largely based on a previous version written by an Atlanta-based band named Injected. I believe that it was formerly known as "Spun Again" which is part of the lyrics. ("I've been sold and spun again.") I can't say why DC chose to call it "Bar-ba-sol" but someone out there probably has the answer. - Cluny Brown
David Seville & Chipmunks | Chipmunk Song | "Chipmunk Christmas Song" - One a plane loops a loop I still want a hula hoop - Barbara Siegel
A Day To Remember | If It Means A Lot To You | La, la la la, la la la Till everyone is singing. La, la la la, la la la If you can wait till I get home Then I swear to you that we can make this last (La la la) If you can wait till I get home Then I swear come tomorrow, this will all be in our past Well, it might be for the best - Jonathan S.
A Day To Remember | You Be Tails, I'll Be Sonic | I still wish you the best of luck, baby And don't go thinking that this was a waste of time I couldn't forget you if I tried You killed what was left of the good in me I'm tired, so let me be broken Look down at the mess that's in front of me No other words need be spoken And I've got nobody else to blame though I tried Kept all of my past mistakes held inside I'll live with regret for my whole life - Jonathan S.
Days Of The New | Touch, Peel and Stand | Okay, the words appear at different times, but never together, as the title would suggest. "Time On My Hands" or "The One To Abuse" would have been better titles. - newrock
The Decemberists | Summersong | I don't think "summersong" is in the song as one or two words. - Opie M.
Deep Forest | Deep Forest | No english lyrics. - MADS

Deftones | Elite | "When you're ripe, you'll bleed out of control. You'll bleed out of control." - Danny Hates Dubstep

Diana Ross | Love Hangover | These two words are not sung consecutively, believe it or not. - Aretha Franklin Ajaye
Digimon Frontier | Blader | the title should've been "he's blade", i think. - mads.
Dinosaur Jr | Start Choppin' | I ain't telling you a secret./I ain't telling you goodbye. - Brian Kelly
Dionne Warwick | Valley Of The Dolls | Despite the song being the theme to the movie of the same name, the title isn't included within the lyrics (which were written by Dory and Andre Previn, not Burt Bacharach). - MOR
Disclosure | F For You | Well, it gets close to mentioning it because the refrain is "Because I played the fool for you", but it isn't obvious that the F in the title stands for Fool. - Crafthead
The Divinyls | Siren | No sirens mentioned in the song, but the parenthetical title "never let you go" is said. - JohnHowarth
Doja Cat | Agora Hills | The lyrics have nothing to do with hills. - JohnHowarth
Dolores O'Riordan | The Journey | This is your life. This is your moment. This is your time. This is your moment. - Brian Kelly
Don Henley | A Month Of Sundays | You never hear the title once in the song, but you can feel the metaphorical theme in the lyrics. It's almost like a story written like a song. - Larcen Tyler
Donovan | Colours | The world "color" is in the song but never as a plural. ("Yellow is the color of my true love's hair... Blue's the color of the sky... Green is the color of the sparkling pond...") - KL Fan
Donovan | Breezes of Patchulie | Originally to be named "Darkness of my Night"...and that was used in the lyrics! - Paul Warren
Donovan | Epistle to Dippy | Why it was called 'Epistle to Dippy' is way beyond me. - Paul Warren

Donovan | Sunshine Superman | Opening line is "Sunshine came softly through my window today". And other verses open with the word "Superman". But the two words never come together anywhere in the lyrics to create the title phrase "Sunshine Superman". - Melissa Conway
The Doobie Brothers | Long Train Running | Although the words "long trains run" appear in the lyrics, the title does not; this song should have the title "Without Love (Where Would You Be Now)" since it is the most-repeated line in the chorus! - crazydon
The Doors | Peace Frog | 'Blood in the streets, its up to my knee Blood in the streets in the town of chicago Blood on the rise, its following me' An excellent song. - Rebecca
Dora the Explorer | Travel Song | Come on vamonos, everybody let's go, come on, let's get to it, I know that we can do it - JohnHowarth
Dr. John | Right Place, Wrong time | "I was in the right place...but it must have been the wrong time." - Rich "Sully" Connelly
Dragonforce | E.P.M. | "E.P.M." is rumored to stand for "Extreme Power Metal", which is DragonForce's genre. Still yet, the song never mentions this. - Anonymous
Drake | Jimmy Cooks | No mentioning of Jimmy anywhere in the song. Plus, the title is a reference to Drake's character "Jimmy Brooks". However, a reference to cooking is said in "I'm cooking up ambition on a kitchen stove". - JohnHowarth
Drake | Passionfruit | Passionate from miles away - JohnHowarth
Drake & Giveon | Chicago Freestyle | While Chicago is rather obviously alluded to as "Windy City", the song doesn't explicitly mention the word "Chicago". There's also no mention of freestyle. - JohnHowarth

Duran Duran | The Chauffeur | There is no reference to a chauffeur anywhere in the song. - Brit Boxx |
