After Milli Vanilli were exposed as frauds in 1990 tabloids began to dig around to find out who else had fallen prey to Milli Vanilli Syndrome. All lipsyncing accusations fell into the laps of the New Kids after a disgruntled ex-employee accused the group of lip syncing at their concerts. Proctor appeared on the Arsenio Hall show to tell his side of the story. That then manager Maurice Starr was some sort of a musical wizzard and he could imulate any of the New Kids's voices. The New Kids appeared on the Arsenio Hall show a week afterwards to refute the accusations that they lip synced at their concerts by performing live.

Gun Threat Against Mariah a Hoax? - Nicki Minaj
Recently on "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj threatened fellow judge Mariah Carey with violence uttering the words "Shoot the Bitch" as a taped session erupted in a fierce argument between the two. Minaj walked off, but made several threats against Carey which included the gun bit. Since she was not fired for the incident many believe that Mariah's anger and Minaj's remarks are fake, intended to increase ratings. Mariah has stated that she never wanted Minaj on the show and that she in fact does not like her, nor her theatrics. Minaj just laughs and tweets the rumors off... so what's the truth??? The viewers are left wondering...

Having An Out-Of-Body Experience - Nikki Sixx
Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue fame told his tale of surviving a drug binge to Behind The Music. He told that he was in a hotel room with a friend getting high and this friend decided that he wanted to give him a humongous dose of heroin and he was so messed up that he said "do it." This friend injected him with the heroin and they decided to drag Nikki to the bathtub and douse him with cold water. When Nikki didn't wake up the friend called an ambulance and on the way to the hospital he was clinically dead. Nikki described his experience as being like he was floating over top of his body until a doctor gave him a shot of adrenaline.

Pulling Offensive Video - No Doubt
No Doubt has pulled its new cowboys-and-indians themed music video and is apologizing to Native Americans and others offended by the clip. In a posting on its website the band says the video for "Looking Good" was "never to offend, hurt, or trivialize Native American people." The video features Gwen Stefani and bandmate Tony Kanal in traditional Native American clothes, while Adrian Young and Tom Dumont are in cowboy get-ups with guns. Dumont and Young tie up Stefani while Kanal is behind bars. The band says it consulted Native American friends and experts but realize people have been offended and "sincerely apologize."

Autopsy Report Release Controversy - Notorious B.I.G.
An attorney for the family of Notorious B.I.G. said recently it's "ridiculous" that LAPD have not arrested anyone for the rapper's 1997 killing, which has returned to the spotlight after coroner's officials released a long-sealed autopsy report. The report revealed that injuries caused by a single bullet killed the rapper, whose real name was Christopher Wallace. Wallace, during a drive-by shooting in 1997, was hit by 4 bullets after leaving a music industry event. One bullet hit his heart, left lung, and colon, causing his death, the 23 page report states. The attorney, Perry Sanders criticized police for not closing one of LA's highest profile unsolved murders, especially since he had been told that police knew who was responsible. Police spokesman Richard French declined to comment, saying Wallace's killing was still an open investigation. Most believe it was the East Coast-West Coast rap rivalry turned deadly in the 1990s. Wallace's killing came months after Tupac Shakur was was gunned down in Las Vegas.
