During a sound check at Chile's National Stadium the Material Girl spotted smokers and immediately voiced her displeasure, "There are people smoking here. No smoking!" Some Colorado fans are upset after Madonna used prop guns during her performance in a community that is still raw from a mass shooting at a local theater and a violent summer that includes the unsolved slaying of a 10 year old girl. Madonna's second act in her show at the Pepsi Center in Denver featured the singer using a prop gun to shoot a masked gunman with images of blood splattering on a large screen behind the stage. It was unclear if the song was "Gang Bang" with lyrics "shot my lover in the head" because Madonna had used that set with that song previously in other cities. Regardless, the audience was shocked and angered with many picking up their things and leaving while others shouted "Aurora". Madonna's press agent Liz Rosenberg said that there was no way to eliminate the scene because it is an integral part of the show. Madonna has not apologized.

Madonna has finally apologised to Australian fans for another no-show. Once again, the singer has cited commitments to her four children as the reason she will not extend her world tour to include Australia.The belated announcement, six weeks after the tour was mysteriously axed, comes on the day her Material Girl clothing line is released to Australian stores.The tour would have been her first visit to Australia in 20 years. In a contrite audio message on her website, Madonna acknowledges the anger coming from Australian fans after bypassing this market for a fifth consecutive world tour. "To all of my Australian fans I am really and truly sorry to have disappointed you," she said. "That's something I don't feel very good about. I know the last time I was on tour I missed Australia as well. I can promise you in my heart of hearts it was my intention to come again, but like the last time my children are my first priority."

A Russian Deputy Premier, Dmitry Rogozin, has attacked Madonna via Twitter for supporting the punk band Pussy Riot. He tweeted this week that, "every former w. wants to give lectures on morality when she grows old. Especially during foreign tours." The w. apparently stands for whore. He added. "Either take off your cross or put on your knickers." Liz Rosenberg, Madonna's spokeswoman, had this to say about Rogozin: "Maybe he and Elton can form a Madonna fan club" which alludes to a long-standing feud Madonna has with Elton over public comments about each other. Meanwhile, Pussy Riot is facing years in prison if convicted of "Hooliganism" and "moral corruption" for an incident at a Russian Orthodox church where they sang an Anti-Putin song. Madonna has said that she would "pray for them" and has Pussy Riot written on her bare back for support!

Madonna voiced hope recently for three Russian rockers on trial for performing a "punk prayer" against Vladimir Putin- that they will be released soon. Two weks before Putin's return to the presidency in a March election, the Pussy Riot band staged their political protest in Moscow's main cathedral singing "Virgin Mary drive Putin away!" Three members were arrested and have spent 5 months in captivity. If convicted they face 7 years in prison for "hooliganism". Mindy McCready's time in Nashville was filled with music, and her memorial service in Music City reflected that. Old friends Bryan White, Lorrie Morgan, and Bekka Braunlett sang for McCready and family members spoke about her difficulties and triumphs during the hour long rememberance at the Cathedral of the Incarnation. The Nashville memorial attended by 200 comes two weeks after her funeral in her home town of Fort Myers, Fla. Suicide - Mindy McCready
Mindy McCready, who hit the top of the country charts before personal problems sietracked her career, died February 17, 2013 in Arkansas in an apparent suicide. She was 37. The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office said in a news release that McCready was found dead at a residence in Heber Springs from what appears to be a single, self-inflicted gunshot to the head. An autopsy is pending. McCready had attempted suicide in July 2005, overdosed in September 2008, and slit her wrists in December 2008. In May 2010 she was hospitalized briefly after police responded to an overdose at a home owned by her mother. McCready's longtime boyfriend David Wilson killed himself last month on the same porch police found Mindy. She had entered a court-ordered rehab earlier this month after her father told a judge that she was no longer taking care of herself or her children and was abusing drugs and alcohol. She is most remembered for her 1996 hit "Guys Do It All the Time" about male chauvinism and her 1996 album "Ten Thousand Angels" sold 2 million copies.

The pursuit of hackers who audaciously stole and published online credit reports on First Lady Michelle Obama and nearly two-dozen other politicians and celebrities including singers Britney Spears, Jay-Z, and Beyonce remain a persistant threat. So far, the hackers who posted to a Russian website recently have eluded both identification and capture by the US AG, FBI, and the SF-based Interent Company Cloudflare. Celebrity social security numbers and other private information have been made public for anyone to view or use. Other big names include Mitt Romney, Donald Trump, and Tiger Woods. Get this - before the band split in late 2015 upon the death of singer/songwriter/bassist 'Lemmy' Ian Kilmeister, the official Motorhead store site was selling electric dildos (vibrators) with the band name on them. One of the very first songs they put out was 'Vibrator' which is lyrically a 3rd person narrative (POV) of one of those devices itself!

Having several "new" songs appear on You Tube - My Bloody Valentine
After the band's second and last full album "Loveless" was released in 1992, there have been rumors that MBV, for many years after, recorded several songs for the yet unreleased third album. The band has denied they have any new material. That didn't stop some diehard MBV fans on You Tube who have downloaded streams of music that sounds suspiciously like the noisy guitars used for the Valetine's hits, but without matching vocals. They claim that they are from MBV's demos. Many You Tube viewers have refuted these recordings to be MBV, but have enjoyed them anyway. BTW, they have reunited for concerts but have not planned on going back to the studio at press time.
